New V5

I feel I should write to acknowledge the excellent help I received from your Treasurer, Danny Lawrence.

I was struggling to get a new V5 for my '72 Firenza, Swansea had lost previous correspondence I had submitted a few years ago and had no record of the car.

The Viva Club is on the Dvla records as authorised to inspect and validate cars and Danny presented a very thorough report complete with laminated photos.

Thank you so much for your prompt service.

Ken Smyth.

Thanks for your appreciation Ken - just shows the value of having a strong and knowledgeable club you can turn to. The Club exists as a result of strong membership numbers, which , as in this case by the DVLA, is recognised as a respected authority in the Vauxhall Viva world - it should also be remembered that the Committee is made up of volunteers who give their time outside of their business and family commitments.
