I may be interested in a set of springs for a different car - as long as the group buy would allow that, and the spring supplier has the spec, I could be interested if it's going to save me a bit of cash.

Has anyone got long-term experience of the quality of springs from South Yorkshire? I've heard lots of people have bought them, especially when they were cheaper, but I don't recall hearing anything about them after a few years of use. Were they cheap for a reason, or have I heard no more because they're OK?

I would assume they are ok, haven't heard any complaints from members who have bought off them, then again they only bought over the company 4 months ago so no one is really going to have any long term experience with this new crowd unless their roots can be traced back to a reputable company they used to own or work at. It worked out cheaper for me to put coilovers in the front and adjustable dampers in the rear so I went down that route. Still awaiting delivery.

Going through my correspondence with them it looks like Springcoil bought over them.

They have posted on their website that they are currently closed due to Covid 19
