Had a message from my Insurance Co. - As more drivers return to the roads, the Government has brought forward the cut-off date for mandatory MOT testing from 30 September 2020 to 1 August 2020.
Which means as far as I can translate that the 6 month MOT extension grant on cars due to the COVID 19 period will finish after 31st July 2020 - so an MOT due 1st August will need to be done whereas an MOT due on the 31st July will be extended to 31st Jan 2021.

Correct, which means we now have the October and April cars due for MOT and are taking bookings eight weeks ahead now at work.
