IMHO the names should alliterate and generaly speaking I think that cars should have female names so if you've got a Viva it should be called:

Valerie
Veronica
Virginia etc.

My Chevette is called Shelly but I have several other Chevette names lined up like Shirley, Shiela, Shauna, Siobhan etc.... and I once nearly bought a Mk1 Carlton (long story) that I named Ciara.

On the other hand naming cars is stupid :P

Reg plate is DAR 396 B I was trying to avoid the obvious Derby as a name for the Car. Wanted to avoid Scabby as well :D

I also have a Brown HC that has no name and the Reg plate doesnt lend itsself to a name, suggestions welcome.

My son Jake names my cars. He is 8, but as a result of suffering a stroke when he was young he is the size of a 4 year-old. Jake is keen on cars and loves the Vivas. He has named our green hc estate Emma, short for emmerald, and our metalic brown/red one Rusty, because of it's colour not the state it's in. Jake will not name our Blue Hb estate, because he knows that is going to be my pride and joy, though he has suggested Dreamy, sleepy, or Saphire, though my favourite so far and by far the funniest is "HEART-STOPPER", supposedly because I love it, but I think that Jake is also trying to be a little ironic.
