Hey Coggers, yeah i believe he did have problems but as i remember he was converting his over to an 8v sri 130 engine and then went for a 16v ecotec. I cant honestly remember if he tried an XE in his HC or not. I shall have to contact him.

It is actually an XE engine just with a plug cover from an ecotec.
So thats:
Magnum axle
Magnum front brakes
XE engine
Now to find all the other parts required
Mr Bottomley.... Would the dizzy that you mention in your shed of plenty work with an Xe or would it be 8v application only?
