Well thats cleared that up then - thanks Les , must say Paul the attention to detail in that engine / bay is impressive - you certainly have been busy .
Still think a stainless steel link would look great .

Stainless / chrome will come along later as time goes on Jon... one has to get it going first :wink: Always work in progress

Linkage in the process of being made. Bar will be stainless, thats the nearest stuff we had and even thats going to be turned down by our ever helpfull turner :D 1/4 is about 6mm. If the helpfull plater I persuaded(conned) to cut the plates hasent done them yet, I'll see if they can be stainless as well, might end up slightly thicker but that shouldnt make any difference. If you want a thread on one end, speak now. :angrywife: :voodoo:

Parts are made, getting Tig welded in the morning, had a right carry on getting some stainless bar. The lathe idea didnt work. Got some now though. And dont ask why I had my hand down a 3ft deep sump beside the drill!!!!!
