Brakes Mods

Postby jonbell123 » Sun May 09, 2010 4:09 pm

Hi all,

Im new to this forum, havent even got a picture of my viva up yet!

Just wondering does anyone know where i can get some easy replacment brake upgrades for my 1256 vauxhall viva?
Drilled discs? High performance brake pads?
I didn't want to spend hords of money and hours in the workshop messing around,
just want to replace the stock parts with higher performance parts.

Cheers for any help in advance

What is so wrong with the stock parts that you require " High Performance " brakes? Is there something wrong with the present brakes, that make you think they are *Bleep*?

Sorry another question!

Could you fit mini drilled and grooved discs on my viva hub?

As they both have 4" stud pattern and the discs are both 8"?

My viva is a 1973 1256 lockheed front discs,

Cheers

Have definately seen cross drilled discs for ohv vivas on E-bay. About £85. Maybe just not being listed at the moment.
