You could also go under the rear axle? I did this with my XE powered HC, it was quite low and there was not enough clearance for a 2.25" pipe to go over the axle.
It worked well for me and had no clearance issues.

had to do a similar thing with my shovette. hopefully the viva will be easier, due to having no panhard rod and it won't be sitting anywhere near as low.

Get some pics of that and the turbo conversion as you go along be good too see it! Where did you get the exhaust from?

No one supplies off the shelf HC exhausts???

I spoke to a guy just before I got my longlife stainless system made (who used to supply the club) who could supply them and also a company down in Devon who could supply them in both mild steel and stainless (both companies).

http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source ... RQH_XmHHDQ

Can't find the other one but here's earl parts link and they list them,

Does the club not supply these kind of parts for its members!?

Po.

PS. The first company said they would make the exhaust to order and as such they could use what bore tube I requested and the boxes could be made up as performace units. Earl part may do the same as they build to order too I believe.
