Sorry, but that looks wrong to me. Can someone explain the need to go that low, must make driving it a pain around town. Just my opinion.

I think you need to ask the VW crowd. Other than the tyres looking too small, I love the look but won't be doing it, I'll stick with my 'slightly lower (arguable) with chunky wide tyres look'...when I get the wheels and tyres

I am tempted to do it on the other one just to see if I can though. Curiosity kills the cat and all that.

Then again, I really don't understand the 'low front and jacked up rear with completely different sized tyres' look either...perhaps just a difference in OTT styling trends across the generations?...

That poor exhaust. :(
Sometimes, I wonder why I bother, and then for one fleeting moment things will go right for a change.

Don't feel sorry for it, it's awful.
E.g.

I'm now putting the new engine on hold and spending the money on one of these fancy exhaust systems that goes above the gearbox cross member and follows the body much more closely. That will give me more than enough ground clearance without the Mini wheels

A 'custom' system by Powerflow. Didn't do what I asked, it's too loud, and it's fit is awful. I'll not be going to Powerflow again!
