1256 vs 1800

Postby ThePinkFloyd » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:31 am

I can't help but think this subject has already been brought up, but as previously mentioned, I'm lacking in the computer skills department, i.e. The search button is my Rubix cube

I have a 1800 donor car. So... Aside from engine and gearbox (I'm not using either) what fits into the 1256?
Rear axle- I imagine its a stronger unit. Will it fit without mods??
Front subframe- Bigger discs if i recall, I would prefer to swap complete front end. Will it fit without mods??

Any help would be appreciated,
Logan

You have basically covered it.

swap axles, subframes, engine, gearboxes..... a few wires to change, gear-leaver hole to sort out otherwise should be a fairly easy swap

good news is that it should all bolt into place without modifications.

I did this swap back in 1989, it's an absolute doddle. :D
