Twin square headlamps

Someone if I remember rightly asked if this had ever been done... I thought it had, and here it is. Seen at the Heritage centre open day last Sunday.

I'm not 100% on that. Perhaps if the laps were smaller/grille surround was black? I'm still going to try my little project.

The pic is a little decieving. The laps are actually bevelled in towards the inset lamps, and look very tidily done. The beauty of it is, that it's completely reversible if you have a spare grill.

Oh yeah, headlamp wipers... I thought that was a nice touch too.

I once fitted FE VX4/90 twin square lamps to the front of my 1800 Firenza SL - light was awful though as the reflectors had gone. I thought it looked quite good, but I was in the minority.
