Ah yes those :( ... I need a set of those for the GT, struggling right now as no one does them, Martin Robey's in Nuneaton don't do them, one wonders if these are on the radar for manufacturer? HB's HC's Firenza's Magnum,s Jensen's, and runny noses all use these.

Probably wouldn't be too hard to panel beat yourself some, would it? As long as you had the right sized hole in something sold to beat the middle into. Or the other way round.

Yup,
it's on the list as I keep having to re-use rusty old bits of lace as well as everyone else.

Don't ask me when though, it's a long wishlist.

If you were to lower the front how much can you get away with using standard size shocks??

If your lowering more than an inch them i would recommended adjustable shocks.

I've lowered mine 60mm on standard shocks (I thought they were uprated KYBs), I'd most definitely recommend adjustable shocks!

I'm with you Oli, I had my rear suspension stripped for painting, bushes etc and rear springs were identical. So is it us that's wrong or what? Why would uneven length springs be fitted anyway?

It might not be true....its written down here though! http://www.classiccars4sale.net/classic ... xhall-viva under "top tips"
I swear someone told me the fronts varied a bit in height due to the weight balance. Those rear ones I have are old so they could have sagged....and it could all be rubbish anyway.
