A lot of things happened in summer but i didnt take pictures too many :? Maybe 120-140 work-hours in the garage in this summer.

Front-axle: Springs from MB180c i´m not sure are they front or rear. Shocks from Peogeot 205 or 306 rear i dont remeber. Sand blasted and painted. Front brake calipers from 240Volvo (4pot). Same thing in Ford Escorts, caliper mountings need some work to fit but that was easy with Dremel.

Rear-axle: Original springs. Shocks from MB 180C. Antirollbar from 323 Mazda. Sand blasted and painted. I didnt take any pictures

It was so close to get that engine running but when testing fuel system, fuel rail was leaking and time was up for this summer. :(

Few pictures:

Electric´s under construction.

Like the wooden engine crane. Just like my wooden roll-over rotisserie.

It´s very handy with rolls. Easy to pop engine+transmission off alone. :) And very handy when lifting front end up.

its a really good idea that crane- I will have to copy it in the future. I currently have a chain block hanging from a large branch in a tree :)

When will you start to get too much snow and have to stop working on the Viva? Where about are you in Finland?

I am studying in other city right now so works with Viva is done by now. Maybe next weekend i go home and put Viva in the "garage" to backyard for winter. Viva is in town called Suomussalmi, somebody knows that town from WW2. About 650km from Helsinki to north.

Maybe March or February 2012:

Something new to this topic. Not much happened in this winter. I didnt even start that engine during winter. But i have been working with Escort mk1´s front hubs.

As you can see the stub´s thread is too short but 2-3mm washer will do the job.
