Vauxhall Viva HC compatible front seat replacement

I hate the seats in my 77 Viva Estate. Awful things... I'd like something more modern to replace them as the Viva is my daily driver.
I recently put in a set of Alfa 156 seats in my Volvo 245 Estate and they dropped in with ease as they have the same width rails. So after that successful upgrade, I was wondering what my ebay-esque options are for the Viva? Anyone do this ..?

What you really need is a friendly local scrapyard and a tape measure.

I know Simon Parker's Silver Bullet replica uses leather seats from a more modern Vauxhall, but I can't remember which one so that doesn't help. I was thinking along the same lines - not to have in all the time, but if I used the car for a longer trip, say to Billing, it would be nice to have a bit more comfort. That said, when I had the Firenza drivers seat retrimmed, I had them pad it up a little so it was more firm and it's better now.

Really...what year Prelude were they? Any pics? Were they the same width on the seat rail?
