Yes, I was just looking at the motor swap as it's the rotation speed of the motor that will give faster wipers. In fact the Cavalier one I have came from a time when apparently it was a common fault for some of the joints in the mechanism to come apart, and the cheapest way was to swap the whole unit including motor. So the last thing I want to do is fit a mechanism that is known to be poor.

The idea is to fit a complete assembly, the original spindles and rods are in poor condition so it would seem the best option, i dont mind a bit of modding but the newer we go generally involves the addition of plastic which i dont want.
