Rightly so !

Anybody can get a clapped out mk4 golf resprayed and stick a set of coilovers into it. Doesn't make it a build.

Nice to see recognition being given to those who truly deserve it

Indeed-very impressive. Good to see the younger generation being so involved in keeping old vehicles on the road. It will hopefully help in keeping the hobby alive long after we old fogies who actually had experience of the vehicles in daily use pass. For us I would venture to say that the interest is essentially nostalgic - whereas younger people's interest appears to be about pushing the boundaries of their technical abilities which is a very positive trait.
