Hi All.
i am looking to convert my HB viva to an alternator from Dynamo. does anybody have an idea of whats involved and how to wire it up?

On the back of the dynamo have you got two Brown/Yellow wires connected to the large terminal. What alternator do you intend to fit.

I fitted a Dynamator (a 45 amp Alternator inside a Dynamo casing) so still looks original under the bonnet. Then used a "DUMMY" RB340 regulator box, available from WOSP, expensive yes, but a straight swap over with no wiring modifications needed at all, and this helps because all is reversable.
