tyre size to fit mg midget wheels i will be putting on the hc 1.3 viva wanting to fill the arches a bit paul

I think Midget wheels were 4 1/2" wide and fitted with 145 tyres, so I wouldn't go wider than 155. I'm sure someone will tell you different though!

told the wheels are correct fitment for the viva

Midgets may well have 3/8" studs but I am running midget wheels on my OHC HC with no issues. They will fit as they are 4 stud on 4" pcd

have fitted them to mine fine with out tyres , what size do you have fitted thinking of putting 165/ 70 r on paul

Mine are banded to 7" with 205's I wouldn't go any bigger than 165 if I were you. Might be worth looking on an MG Midget forum to see what others have safely fitted
