Is it possible to put a Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 16V ecotec petrol engine in a HA?

I've seen a HA with a Ford Zetec motor in, so I should imagine the vauxhall unit will fit as well.

Come on Clara - you've seen what I've shoe horned into an HA!
But on a more serious note, if you can find an appropriate RWD gearbox (manta?, or Frontera ?) and can handle the complexity of the electronics, sensors, fuel injection fuel pumps, re-routing of the cooling water etc etc, then the answer is yes. Oh, and the cutting about of the tunnel to get a modest sized gearbox......
Fun eh!
