does any one make coil overs for a viva/ my viva turbo

This is an area for discussion about modifications to Vivas.

just a daft thought here, whilst i know the turrets have to be modified for the coilover to fit, are any reinforcements being made?
as technically the rear turrets were not designed to take the weight of the car, and only designed to take a damper!

i dunno, perhaps iam getting ahead of myself, and maybe the viva/firenza has adequate strength in that part, but i have seen funny things happen on other types of car when a coilover has been fitted in place of seperates (the shell started to implode!!!)

if iam waffling tripe again, please ignore me

Lol, good answer, but T5's can be has for about £300 quid nowdays

And the torque of the Z20LET is going to be testing the "9's" limit  especially if the boost is increased

Still, I guess you could buy half a dozen type 9's for T5 money 8)

Was considering last night about going to coilovers. Did a quick google search but couldn't find anything. Just not sure if the ride would be too harsh for a daily. Not that it would bother me all that much, i like stiff rides but i wouldn't want to cause damage to the car by having the susp. too stiff and in use a lot on public roads. Perhaps just lowered springs and stiff shocks would be more suited for me.

Saw your viva on retrorides, like it a lot :D should be a lil bit mental when done
