i hope the person doing it paints the engine bay before finnishing the fitting of the engine.

any one know what the engine is?

Sorry but I doubt I will paint it :oops: Havnt got the time. Once the mechanical side of the car is done Ill get on with the body work and paint.

The engine is a c20ne. A 2litre 8valve out of an astra/cavalier/calibra.

ha ha top notch job! that the 130 spec or the 118? (can't remember the codes) was toying with that idea for my fren!
not an easy motor to get though as the dreaded banger boys like them 8)

its the 118 engine. They like it because its simple and strong. Perfect for what im gonna be doing with it :D

That engine looks to sit nicely in the engine bay,
did it take much modification to make it fit?
Any chance of a few more pics? :D

your right there! nearly bullet proof as per its 16v sibbling 8)

am i right in thinking that the 130 was only a cam tweak, maybe compression ratio?

Cam and ECU iirc, but Im not using the ecu and cant afford a camshaft :P

Ive had to modify the trans tunnel for the type 9 gearbox and remove the heater matrix.
