Hello all I have a question with the front brakes,I am fitting the calipers to the 1800 front end, I have 2 sets they both need rebuilding the 1256 has lockheed calipers reasonable cond and the 1800 has girling calipers and frozen up, the girling appers to be a bit better designed and built are one brand better than the other but which to fit. thanks mork

I believe the calipers and discs on the OHC cars are bigger, so for an 1800 you'd be better going with the 1800 calipers and discs. Haven't seen an OHV setup for a while, so hopefully someone else will confirm.

Spot on that man.
Go for the 1800 setup, bigger discs & calipers. You can get EBC green stuff pads for these too.
