ADHESIVE CHOICE HELP REQUIRED

Postby logsplitterman » Tue Jun 28, 2016 3:01 pm

Hi
I am at last getting round to gluing the vinyl dash pad to the dash edge of the Beagle. This is a vinyl/plastic item to a two pack painted surface. I think a brush on adhesive would be preferable rather than a spray which would involve a lot of complicated masking. I am aware that a lot of contact adhesives will melt paintwork hence my question. Has anyone any ideas?
Thank you,
Alan Hughes.

I have used Evo-Stik SERIOUS GLUE in the past to stick boot rubbers to the painted channel - really good hold and does not seem to affect the paint.
