Is the front number plate held on just by the 2 brackets that fix to the front bumper or should there be a plate attached to the brackets that the number plate is then screwed to ?
My number plate has been relocated and as such I don't have the brackets or anything else to go by.

Just the two brackets. When HC's were designed number plates were metal so no problems with just the brackets.
