Tonight's Question - heater controls

Postby jpsmit » Wed Feb 10, 2021 3:39 am

Tonight's project was starting to assemble the heater controls out of three sets of controls.

Before I do something idiotic how do I get the ends off the sliders for the heat/cold control and the direction slider?

Looks like a friction fit but, I only have one of each and don't want to risk breaking it.

thanks all

I think that there’s a little clip on the back. If you can get a “U” shaped pick in behind it, you should be able to pull it down (or up if it’s on the top) and gently wiggle and remove it.

Answering my question - friction fit, I found some spares so felt OK to try tapping and sure enough, easy peasy.

thanks all!
