Today's update pretty much coming live from the shed. Engine and gearbox is in, it is slightly tilted because the hole for the gearstick to pass through hasn't been lengthened yet but that is next on the list. Mx5 radiator sits in really nicely. The subframe has to be modified to clear the sump, I did this with an old rusty subframe that came out of the hedge find viva first and it was handy enough. Engine mounts to be made now, try and mount the radiator and gearbox nicely and then we will go from there.

Thank you, I find everything seems to flow better when the momentum is kept up, unfortunately my easter holidays are finished and I'm back to work on Monday so things will slow down a bit with only nights and weekends to work on the car

Taking a look around the front windscreen the rubber is badly perished. Given this and the fact all the glass bar the windscreen is removed I am planning on removing the windscreen and getting the blaster pulled out to remove some of the surface rust.

I see East Kent Trims do a front screen rubber for the HC. I know there was a pretty extensive thread on HB screen rubbers, can anyone advise if the East Kent Trim windscreen rubber for the HC is any good?

Thanks
