This email as sent from a normal email account to the vauxhallviva.com
forum.

It proves the ability to post to the board via emails.

However the following issues still need to be sorted.

1/. How to subscribe to mailing lists when joining the forum.

2/. Spamassasin settings

3/. Multiple forum mailing lists management

Once these items have been resolved I suspect a trial test period for
certain members will be launched.

Then nice FAQ

Then release to the general populationn

In this test I will reply to the topic via the board, I should receive an email with the reply via my email account. If it works i will try to reply via an email and see if 1/. I get a reply and 2/. see if that is posted on the forum

Right well the system works now to sort out the details!!!

1/. CRON JOBS, will have to speak to the server hosts will take about a week or so
2/. Play with the email template... looks very plain at the minute will need to make it seem a bit more VVOC like.
3/. Spam assassin (used to clear out all the spam !!) need some research here, want to make sure I don't open the server up to spam heaven, and at the same time allow all members to post freely.
4/. Write some new PHP modules to enable members to subscribe / unsubscribe to the mailing list, so each member can change the way they receive emails (either plain text, or HTML). (Individual emails, no emails, daily digests or weekly digests)

Reading through your last few posts here I'd say that a bottle of vodka and a few valium should do the trick. Who needs sleep, it's very over-rated.
