Vauxhall Viva 1300L, 4 door saloon, Yellow (Bright!), 35954 miles, MoT to January,2014.
HISTORY: First registered 24.03.1976. Bought by the previous owner 04.07.1977 as a retirement present for his wife (then aged 58). Driven regularly until 1980/'81, the car was then stored at the front of a tandem garage for the next 25+ years because of her ill health / eyesight preventing her from driving. The husband lived in hope of her recovery, and had the car serviced and MoT tested, even paying the Road Tax, right until 1997. Thereafter the car never saw the light of day until I bought it from the estate of the deceased owner in September, 2007. It only required a new fuel pump, new windscreen washer pump, new battery, spark plugs, oil & filter change, brakes service (and one new light bulb!) to pass its MoT test.
Although the paintwork requires remediation in places, this is purely cosmetic and superficial. All the body parts are original, and there is no 'filler' anywhere.
