Ok this is now on the road with 12 months MoT and 6 months tax may still need a shake down to prove reliability. £1500 - where else can you get a car in two tone Blue with hamerite painted front wings! Going on the For Sale area at end of week.

Ok Carl I will give your idea a a whirl - if I have to bring gazebos and signage, table and bits for various people I might as well bring the blue estate - giving it a shake down this week and if it is looking relaible I will bring it with a "for sale" notice.
Fitted a tow bar so can bring the trailer too! - must get a numberplate
If Ade can make it sunday he may borrow Chalky for the day :goodideasign:

Well I almost got to Billing under my own steam but ran out of drive about 5 miles out on the A43 at Moulton?
My Knight in shining armour Steve (bedfordbad on here) managed to get me to the destination :P
This did not help my plan to advertise to members on the Club Stand. Quite a bit of interest but mainly of a curiosity nature regarding the front wing finish rather than serious intent to purchase :o
Still it now has some club history having taken Dans prize of shed of the show away from him.
So the benchmark was set - Rachael Jones with her HC 4 door 1800 GLS achieved this status some 3 or was it 4 years ago and walked away with Best HC this year.
Who would like to try and better this feat - the clutch will be fixed for the lucky buyer and the gauntlet laid down. The colour - 3BB - is Saphire Blue Metalic and I was told the wings were new prior the the aplication of the "gel coat"
The Blue One is now sat in my shed awaiting the clutch fix so watch this space :P

Well the clutch is fixed and the front wings have beenstripped of their Hamorite/gellcoat or whatever the covering was. Wings have been primed with a rust encapsulator/preventor. Dont intend to take it any further for the price of £1500 - still has 10months MoT and 4 months Tax - buy it this month and you get the tax with it - buy it next month and the new DVLA rules apply which preclude transfer of road tax to the new owner
