Name: Ezra
Location: Auckland, NZ
Cars you own: 77' Vauxhall Viva HC Coupe
Mods: Body respray
Anything else you want to add: Basically I'm a complete newby when it comes to oldschool cars, but looking to make a bunch of mods to 'Sally' and need some good advice: C20XE engine or maybe Astra SRI??, Celica 5sp gearbox??, Diff??, Firenza HC Grill and lights (have a saved search on ebay at the moment). :D Been told a Score Seven paint job might be the way to go (in yellow and black of course) but can't find any images of it on Google. Might be onto an 1800 Magnum that is wrecking so it could make complete sense to cannibalise the lot and bolt it straight into the Viva. If the engines old school I'll top it off with a weber or dellorto carby setup. Fun times 8)

Hi and welcome, great looking car and the best colour, just one thing the car you have is a 2 door and not a coupe, this is my 1800 magnum coupe and as you can see in yellow, hope you enjoy the site.

I did note that the Wiki definition states that manufacturers have variations on the definition! The official Vauxhall model line up for the HC range was 2 & 4 door Saloon, 2 door estate and 2 door Sports Coupe (Firenza, Magnum Coupe and Viva E Coupe)

So your's is definitely a 2 door Viva HC saloon. I do like it though :D
