hello all, just introducing myself my name is morris originally from oxford now running a hotel in blackpool, i did my apprenticeship at a local vauxhall dealers in oxford from 1973 to 1977 and have owned viva HB's and magnum's for a few years.

I am in the process of looking for a magnum coupe project car, which i intend to uprate with a twin cam engine and getrag gearbox etc, i hope that somebody within the club may be able to help me or point me in the right direction.

Hi Morris,
Lotus twin cams in Vivas is becoming a trend.
I have one in my '72 two door and at the VBOA parts day I discovered that there a quite a few more doing the same thing.
Cheers

Magnum Coupes are extremely rare in any condition. If it's a good one keep it singlecam slant 4 and tune that instead in my opinion.

If all you do find is a scrapper then it will take a lot of work and difficult to find parts to put right so it might be easier to modify than make original.

The rear arches are still attached to the car and I will remove them,

if your interested in the complete shell with the body kit windows

doors etc email me and I will explain what needs doing on it

Just read this Paul think he is open to offers for the complete
car minus running gear and will maybe if sold as a "project" this guy will keep the car on the road.
The guy has said he wants to "Lotus" a coupe.

Think Ade is keeping running gear etc???
