Hi, I am new to the club as well as forums. I own a Sylva Star, a viva based kit car which I am currently restoring. The engine is a 1256 ohv and is in bits awaiting machining. I Intend to port and gasflow the head and fit a fast road cam. I also need to rebuild the gearbox as synchro on 2nd is on the way out. If anyone has a suitable cam and/or gearbox spares please let me know.

Welcome along, i seem to remember what your describing how about a piccy, i have a spare engine and box but im not really on your door step.
You could use the parts wanted section.

I'll get some photo's posted soon. As my wife and I are both retired a trip to Yorkshire wouldn't be a problem if the 'box is for sale and I can't get anything closer to home. I'll also try the parts wanted section.
