You'll find we have a number of full members who, for whatever reason are not currently Viva owners & we certainly don't insist on ownership as a membership criteria.

Membership is particularly useful if intending purchasing a car as there are parts, services & particularly cars that are offered exclusively to members at a discounted price. Due to the rarity of the cars there is also likely to be some history in the database about future purchases with a lot of the eBay/classiccarweekly/carandclassic/etc cars already known to the club. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) this information is only available to full members.

Finally, I'm not just being harsh but there are a few raw wounds around here following a recent instance where a certain individual took advantage of the club's generosity to basically make a tidy profit. We're not always a miserable bunch of sods..... :)

thanks,

I assume you're referring to the red HC that ended up on Retro Rides? I saw that advert and was actually interested in purchasing the car until I found out what it was offered to the seller for.

That was just an out and out p**s take.

Heading to collect the car this evening so admin can expect my application on provided everything goes according to plan this evening

Regards

Yeah I did! the body's very solid and it's nice and presentable

A few running issues on the 120 mile journey home so the engine is now in bits, I'm replacing all gaskets and giving it a full service once it's back together so hopefully by Saturday afternoon it'll be up and running so I can start enjoying it.

I'm after a set of either minilite or rostyle wheels for it. anyone know of anything?

If not, can anyone tell me what stud fitment and offset I need to look for when looking for HB wheels

We have a number of members who are looking for their 1st viva - we are quite happy to let you join before you own a Viva :P
Sho0uld you wish to join you will have access to the VVOC register archive once you request access to the members only area - this is part of what the membership fee is for
