TERRY new member needs advise

im new to the club i own a 1256 viva hc for 20 years and im in the process of restoring it . im just wondering about the front springs the wheels have a negative camber ie they tilt in on the top .can anyone tell me are the front springs gone weak? is this the cause . i dont think the balljoints are worn : :) :thanx:

Has it been lowered or have the springs been changed :?: is it OHV or OHC :?: wrong springs on heavier OHC engine would do it :wink:

it hasnt been lowerered or springs touched since manufacture. im only the second owner an old guy bought it new and housed it at night its a 1256 cc ohv and original engine. would old lazy springs cause this ? thanks fred :

May be tierd springs or worn bushes

Hello and welcome. Got any photos of the car, including reg number? I would imagine weak springs, and or very worn bushes could cause the problem but they would have to be well worn.

gonna have to check all :? i know the bushes are the original from new so could be the problem thanks to all for tips much appreciated ill try to upload some pics of the project later this car is rare in the west of ireland to be in such good nic its very salty on the west coast ere and salt leads to rust :woohoo:
