HELLO EVERYONE

Postby Malcolm Muter » Sat Sep 13, 2014 12:50 pm

Afternoon folks,

I've recently joined the club having bought a HC Viva 1300 gls in Cheshire. Cardinal red with black vinyl roof SYV 543S, nice car and driving lovely.

I've had two Viva's in the past but that was when they were new! (well newish  )

I live in the far frozen north of Northumberland, beyond Newcastle.

Hopefully someone will be able to make a suggestion, I'm putting the bits together to service my car, I've been to a couple of local motor factors and rang a couple.

It has to be said they are not a great help, I'm faced with vacant expressions and sorry mate. If they can't input the reg no in and get a hit the interest level goes up in smoke.

Young lads with no interest in older cars or providing a service.

I'm trying to spend my cash locally but they are doing their best to disappoint.

Is anyone aware of a sympathetic motor factor in the north-east of England?

There must be one where I can pick up my bits and bobs.

If anyone can put me in touch with someone reasonably local I'd be over the moon.

Steve/Peter,

As long as the weather holds (within reason) we intend going to the Whitley Bay show on the seafront (brrrrr) next Sunday 21st Sept.

Still time to come along, all free just fill form in scan and e-mail back.

We also joined NECPWA, so again if it's okay we'll be at Beamish the following Sunday 28th.

Love the van by the way, if your into your vans there is a terrific CF dark blue van about. Owned by Colin, an older chap who has owned it since new! Think it is on an A plate if I remember correctly.

Colin will also be at Beamish, worth a look you'll be amazed.
