engine transplant into1965 ha delux

Hi guys hows it going ? I have a 65 ha that requires a rebuild . IM curious as to what engine can you fit into this . Is there a Vauxhall engine you can fit , or one from a different make . Also what axle and gearbox can be used . IM grateful for any info in this cheers :

It already comes with a vauxhall engine... 1057cc and you can do a straight swap (almost) with a 1256cc one.... OFF THE SHELF nothing else will fit, it will all have to be custom made, if you good with a welder then making engine mounts etc shouldn't be to much of an issue

Question whats wrong wi the present engine that makes you in your first post ask to change it? Maybe tell us about the car, you and obviously the dreams you had upon buying it :D

nice to here you have saved another HA Viva - is it tha Deluxe or the SL model - there is a period SL 90 engine which gives a bit better and more sporting performance or as Paul says youcan fit the 1256cc engine frome the HC or Chevette.
