Batmobile HA ice-cream van HWK 155V

Hello,
I've just joined the club as a full member, and the proud owner of a rare beast - an HA ice cream van 'batmobile' conversion by Cummins of Crewe (now Whitby Morrison) I believe there are only five left. My grandad who had the Lyons Maid franchise in Cambridge in the late 1960's had one of these as his first van. It has been SORN for 4 years but just got it through its MOT. Unfortunately the rear axle is very noisy and if anyone knows where I can get hold of one I'd be most grateful. I'm looking forward to bringing it to Billing next year :D

Wow, your very welcome. That indeed is a rare beast. Got any more photos? If you look up Bedfordbad on this forum he might be able to help with an axle. We dont have that one listed in our register either so its a new one to the club. If its hot at Billing your going to be very popular!
