Hello again all, thanks again for the warm welcome! As requested here are some images of my Viva! Also one for you Kraken, what wheel specs are you running on yours? I've picked up some rostyles with the intention of banding then polishing them to a mirror finish, but I'm unsure how wide to have them banded to, I want my tyres to be thick so 205 60 r13 but I don't want the rim out width the tyre if that makes sense and defo no arch rolling! Either flush or even a slightly buldging out tyre wall would be lovely! Any advice?

Pictures look great!

Beigey has 8x13 wheels fitted, but I wouldn’t recommend going that wide.
I’ve got 205/60r13 tyres on the back and I have loads of clearance, but the car sits very high at the back as the springs I fitted appear to be for an estate!
195/60r13 on the front, which is too narrow for the wheels, but any wider tyres and they would rub the arches.
I wouldn’t go wider than 7j (-7 offset) at the front if I were you but there’s people here who probably have better info regarding wheel fitment than me!

Thanks for that, great advice, I think as they are currently 5.5" rostyles (I think) a 6.5 or 7 inch band would be kinda spot on. Thanks again, very helpful, I appreciate this forum! :goodideasign:

I have banded rostyles on mine. I bought MG midget rostyles. Originally 4 1/2" wide I had them taken to 7" with all the extra on the outside of the wheel, that way I knew there would be no interference with springs and suspension. I have 205/60/13 tyres. Be aware that at 7" there is almost a certainty you will have to trim some off the bottom of the front wheel arch near the valance, and some people have them catch on the bulkhead which needs beating back.
