Hello all.

Hi all, :)
My name is Paul and although I'm not new to the club, was one of the original founders with Adrian back uptee dumptee years ago of the Viva HB Club , but new to the online services.

Back in those days I drove a two door Viva HB SL 1159cc in Oyster Grey which I subsequently had repainted a Royal Blue. No mod's other than a down draught Nikki carb. and electronic ignition but boy could it go. Cruised quite happily at 80 mph.

That wasn't enough, so when I saw a Viva GT for sale in 1981 I bought it :D Little did I know the full state of this sad example.
After a year and half of work it was my pride and joy :D and have lovingly kept it on the road since.

At present it's MOT time and I'm looking for a rear upper spring seat as the os one as rusted. Posted on Spares wanted.

When I get sorted [knowledge wise] I'll up load some pictures and give the full spec. mod's of the vehicle.

Keep motoring,
Regards paul.

Hi Paul & welcome to the online world!
Sounds a very nice car you have there. Would love to see some pics.
Do you come to Billing still?
As regards the rear spring seat, i def do not have one but someone out there in Vivaland may.

Hi, and welcome back, I've been a member since the early days as well. Which GT do you own?

First to Pauls question I do occasionally go to Billing but it depends on work.

The car I have was first registered in June 1968, SNG182G & was originally a Monaco white with matt black bonnet but by the time I got it, it was a metalic red. Is still red and has white 5.5in. 8 spoke wheels, no front bumper but has a front spoiler. You'll most likely remember it, Peter, when you see the pic's. Will get the pic's on the gallery soon.

Paul.
