Quick hello

Postby mach1mike » Mon Nov 26, 2007 10:13 pm

Hi the names Mike, used to a lot of work on Vivas, Magnums & Firenzas for a small racing team (SIRCH) run by a chap called Chris Sims.

Thought you'd like to see a few photos.

This one first, our old Viva GT,it was a GT as well, but you'll note the hood & grill are standard items, this is because it was in Modified Saloon class & GTs were not allowed.

That doesn't happen often. My two favourite cars in the same pic.

Cheers

Hi Mike, welcome to the site. As dann01 said, two of my favorite cars too :D Are you from the Newquay area by any chance? Only ask as Kilbirnie is on the GT, and I've gone past the Kilbirnie Hotel many many times.

Hi all, yes I'm from Newquay, The Kilbirnie is just up the road from me, they were one of our main sponsors as was The Grantham Astor Hotel & Anglo Petrol.

I've got a quite a few more pictures, so I'll scan them in soon & share them, got quite a few of Chris's other race car which was a space frame Firenza with a twin cam Lotus engine fitted with Tacelamite mechanical fuel injection.

Mike.
