New Brake Pipes

Postby Bob perry » Sun Jun 01, 2014 11:08 pm

I've just had a complete set of brake pipes made up, for my HA, by Johnsons car & home supplies in Fife.
Found them on e.bay.
Absolutely first class and very quick service. There's a choice or copper or cupro nickel, which retain the shine, so I chose them.
They are a little more expensive but well worth the extra.
I just sent him the Model, year, and brake details, discs and servo etc, and he did the rest. Apparently he has all the model patterns. Even sent me a print out of the design from his pattern book and marked each pipe with the corresponding letter, which is brilliant. Can't wait to get them fitted now!!

Superb service, and I promised him I would pass the word on to Members.

So, if you are in the market for brake pipes give him a call. Well worth it. :D :D
