Heater pipe adaptor for HA Cyl head

Some of you may have followed my problems with a sheared off hose adaptor, which screws in to the cyl head on HA. Mine sheared off flush, and I had all sorts of dramas, getting the old remnants out and trying to find a new one. Adrian Miller pointed me to a Ford one on E. Bay which is around £16-00.
Then a mate pointed me to The North American Car Company locally, as he thought it looked like a chevvy water pump adaptor.
Absolutely spot on!! tapered thread and perfect fit. Loads of sealer and screwed it in, Magic!!
All for the princely sum of £8-00!!!
So, if you run in to similar problems?? give them a try, or p.m. me and I will get you one, it's regular stock for them.
Part number is 56152 and it is made by Dorman products, Colmar USA.

I thought Adrian would have known about them being used on American GM cars, I certainly did. Having said that I've never seen them as cheap as £8.

If it's the same part they are also used on HB and HC, both OHV and OHC engines as well. I probably didn't reply to your original post as I didn't know they fitted the HA as well. I think I have 3 spare ones here, which are not for sale, I might add.
