In 2016 it will be the VBOA International!
The Yorkshire Dales in England will welcome the three day VBOA International over the weekend of May 20th to the 23rd 2016. The event will be based at the 3 star Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel (www.mercureleeds.co.uk). With grounds leading to the award winning Golden Acre nature reserve with its woodland, three lakes and landscaped gardens, the hotel lies in open countryside 6 miles (10 km) from the centre of Leeds and just 3 miles (5km) from the Yorkshire Dales National Park (www.yorkshiredales.org.uk) with its promise of open roads, spectacular scenery and rewarding places to visit.
The Mercure is easily accessible from the A1(M), M1 and M62 with Leeds/Bradford airport 4 miles (6.5km) away and Manchester Airport also within easy reach. Port access via Hull is 60 miles (100 km) and Harwich 230 miles (370 km).
Participants will enjoy free membership of the Feel Good Health Club with its spa and pool and free WiFi throughout the hotel. A dedicated on-site VBOA parking area with overnight security will be provided.
We are now planning our Saturday and Sunday routes with the assistance of well known Yorkshire enthusiast Dave Dickinson who produces classic motoring routes for the 750 Motor Club Yorkshire Experience and others.
Entries will be invited later in the year when prices can be confirmed and further bulletins will be sent as planning develops. In the meantime put the date in your diary!
