British Motor Show in Farnborough in August
Posted: Sun Jan 31, 2021 5:22 pmThought I heard it before, but confirmed in the latest Practical Classics Mag, the British Motor Show is, right on my doorstep, at the new Farnborough Exhibition Centre, on Farnborough Airfield, in August 20th-23rd. around 10 minutes walk from my house, FANTASTIC!!! So close the aircraft fly almost over our roof when landing/taking off
Superb new facility over there and well worth a visit.
If any Members are considering coming to the show, I can offer a couple of parking places on the drive, three at a squash, to help save the parking fees at the show, not given yet but could be expensive!!
Air show ones are normally a tenner, although they also use a large local school field, but it's horrendous to get out of sometimes, especially if it rains, and the bottom of my road is the A331 and a direct link to the M3,A3,A31!!
I shall hopefully be going one, or maybe all three days, if the ticket/treasurer allows, and the offer is there for parking if Members would like it.
I'm sure the necessary refreshment facilities would be catered for, along with the Viva chat of course.
