Blimey I don't think there'll be many Scottish Vivas there this year then
That'd be a 500+ mile round trip even for me from east central england., that's over 100 quids worth of fuel, so sadly too far for
me as well. Shame, as I was hoping to be back on the road by then.
I guess it's impossible to suit everyone, and I know that Adrian, credit to him, *tries* to move it around a bit so that different
areas get an advantage on different years, so I guess some of the the South coast regulars (nice blokes, the ones I've met) will be
happy this time as they usually have a fairly long way to travel.
However, real northern members do, so far, seem left out. Has there ever been a "national" North of central England? (geographically
that's up towards Sheffield), let alone the centre of the whole UK which would be somewhere up around York.
Peak District next year perhaps?
Still, late september is pushing it a bit for northern weather!
I think it was once commented that the reason it's always somewhere down South is that not many northerners attend.
mmm, there seems to be a flaw in that reasoning. Hardly surprising that most of the "regulars" are southerners seeing as it's
*always* down that way
