Postby bodyworx » Wed Jan 09, 2008 11:49 am

Hi all,
Just had an email for the first of the Scottish shows to confirm.

LOUDEN CASTLE CARS AND RIDES 2008 (near Kilmarnock)

Louden castle is a theme park so theres plenty for all the family and normally a great day out anyway!

The ACTUAL date for this event is SUNDAY 15 JUNE 2008(so you can go SHAGGY!!!)

(The person who drew up the dates for the yearly events was using last years calendar and got a bit confused:roll:  )

If anyone is interested in going, please contact me or add your name below ASAP and I'll submit a booking for the show,
We can take up to 15 cars on a stand,an ideal chance for a pre Billing event
So come on guys, lets show that Scotland can be represented as well, get them cars out !!!!!!!!!!

loads of prizes to be won and shows etc and I'll see if i can get Total Vauxhall photographers to make an appearance  :D

All the fine details will be added as I get them

look here for some details (please remember the dates are still wrong on the advert at this time!)

Hi Andy, I would love to attend this event but i'm afraid i won't manage as i will be sunning myself in the Dominican Repbublic for a fortnight. I will be thinking of you all though whilst i'm lying around in weather which may be a wee bit hotter than Louden Castle.

Andy

Sounds good, put me down for it, should have my HC finished and MOT'd by then (Anyone fancy a roll and sausage one weekend!)

Think Alhendo will be up for it as well

Cheers

I'm interested, do they do camping? Its a bit of a drive to do in one day there and back.
Peter
Reading between the lines, dangerous if your waiting for a train.

Not 100% sure on the camping, I will ask and get back to you on it.

If theres none, theres plenty of other options locally, B&B and other camp sites etc...
I'll find out as much as possible and post it up.

Hi All,

Louden Castle organisers are now asking for projected numbers attending nd I need to send in the application very soon to secure a stand.
We can take up to 15 places.

At present the names put forward are:

1 / Andy (bodyworx) '73 custom Viva estate
2 / Alan Hosie '93 custom mini turbo
3/ Ally (Sid Vicious) '90 Mk 2 Golf gti
4 / Steff (possible) Viva HC
5 / Alhendo (possible) Viva HC
6 / HB Peter (possible) Viva HB
7/ Phil Dawson Viva HC
8/ (opel)Scott Viva HC

I can add some of my customers custom cars if required , but I 'd rather see a good Viva presence if possible.rather than the "fantastic plastic!" and hard core Jap stuff:roll:

Without sounding 'big headed' my custom cars WILL probably steal the attention, so lets see those Vauxhalls chaps

please add your name if your wanting to come to the show and I can submit a booking.

There are 4 major camp sites within a 6 mile radius of the event (10 mins drive) so make a weekend of it and see the sights on the Saturday(loads of things in Ayrshire) and theres always the Ayr races and market
(if theres an event on and you fancy a bet on the gee gee's )

Andy.
