Should be OK as I say it's wheel spinning burnouts that break them. DTV raced Old Nail on a standard axle fitted with an LSD. It had tuftrided planet wheels but otherwise standard, yes, the shell was ultra light but the torque was pretty high and the rubber super sticky.

What axle is in the Red Barron Fred?

Thanks again for that reply. Know it's a bit silly to want an 8 just because of the sound but when I look at my Viva can't see any other motor suiting it.

I've got standard 2.3 axle on the Red Baron (3.5 Rover V8) been there since about 2000 - sounds like your usage is going to be about like mine - not a boy racer :lol:
