Was the car on SORN when you bought it or had the vendor not bothered? If it had not been on SORN it may be the reason the DVLA wanted more proof as genuine? Other than that it sounds like "jobsworth" :roll:

Thanks just glad to get that sorted I think you are right Fred the guy I bought it from probably didnt bother to sorn it so that is what caused the trouble.
