Weber carb on a Magnum 1800

Hi, anybody used a weber single carb on magnum 1800?

I’m using one, a 32-36 on a 1600 OHC via an adaptor plate and it’s spot on. So smooth and responsive.

Thanks. I hope that it will work on mine. Mechanic suggested to switch to weber as the existing Zenith was leaking fuel....

Mine is excellent just make sure you get the accelerator linkage right and it is definitely getting full throttle.

Hi Didalf,

Just switched mine to a weber one. I feel its running rich on fuel and i get fuel smell in cabin whilst driving.....Any feedback from you?

Sorry I missed this? Hope you’re sorted. Obviously the Carburettor will need to be jetted for your engine and the fuel pressure checked.
